I like the idea of the 2x4 s ,saves the hassle of working with and cutting plywood,also lining with foam cuts down on seams ,looks very solid, hope you keep us out to speed on this build good luck..

If I may ask, where did you buy the heater? That is a pretty good price for 1K watt heater.

If I were you, I would put another complete layer of 2x4s around the outside. That tank might need to be beefed up a little bit......:ROFL::grinno:
 
im prettty sure that the way those 2x4's are they wont need any help holding that wieght
 
Moved the pond into the room today and insulated it. Liner is set to arrive on Tuesday, and I hope to begin filling it on Tuesday night.
