Looks awesome. Nice work!

tcarswell makes a good point about the aro jumping out. I would be worried about finding him dried up on the floor. Did you say that there will be a cover? I'm sure you are tired of hearing this, but I'm looking forward to seeing pix (of the cover).

Reall nice pond but i do see some over kill on the wood.... how come no 4x4s? the price isnt cheaper but they are alot stronger.

"To whom ever said how you find stright 2x4's"
Ask your local lumberyard when a shipment comes it.... Some time You can find a bundle that hasnt been in the sun or on the ground that long.. Proper storing of wood is the key. Also there are a few diff kinds of 2x4. Some are pricey but select cuts are. "econo" are just crap but dirt cheap... If you have time you can shift around in the stack and find the best ones...

BOTR you should of looked into green board at the top. It can save it from the water damage you get later down the road. I think you might. I seen some home made tank stands that had no problem but me i rather be on the save side. Green board isnt that appilling ether. It also looks like you installed the liner just right, By doing the folds.... i was just about to pm u a how to i have about getting it just right...

All in all i love the set up GL on the gravel Vacs. :)

Actualy 4x4's would NOT be better in this application. They have more of a tendancy to warp than when you connect 2x4's together.

Also the idea of finding straight 2x4's for me is age. I have a place that is local that has some aged 2x4's and the moisture content has had a chance to even out. Young wood is generaly too wet for my liking and may dry unevenly.

No need for green board. The top plate will be sealed with silicon, not allowing any run-off onto the lower boards. Also I hate using any type of treated material, make sme nervous.

Sorry for the spelling errors.....
