9" Female Ornatus Pics

awesome looking female!!! I have 3 m 2f 8" I got from Rapps...just waiting to fatten them up and put them in a bigger tank to see if I can get some spawning out of them. I am in lafayette too btw.

Do you have any pics when shes not barred up...and of the male. Is she that green/yellow when shes not barred up? Thanks
 
I do have a question for some of you that have this fish. I currently have some growing out in 2 different tanks. After reading that some are comparing this fish to a festae I'm a little worried. I have some in a 125 with some Geo's and no aggression so far but if they are similar to a Festae should I be thinking about removing them from my Geo tank? I have to admit I love this fish but know very little about them. Mine seem very mellow at the moment but they are still slightly under 4 inches.
 
awesome looking fish! i have 2 myself male and female both about 4 1/2 inchs right now. they are in a 150 with my 6 inch female festae. i cant wait for them to get bigger to really see their colors and traits. its hard to tell the female from the male right now. i think the male is one showing more vibrant colors.

Very pretty. Please close look on them because you have them with Festaes.
 
It's crazy to see her color and stripes change so many diffrent patterns my wife keeps asking what is that fish three times and it's the ornatus. I will try to get some pics tomorrow of a few of the different patterns . Each time u l look at the tank she looks like a completely different fish.

My female was Red like a female, but now she looks green just like my male. lol
