It's been three weeks since it got here. Some changes can be noticed. The characteristics of lapradei is vanishing gradually. The body shape is even shorter than a normal endlicheri. The external gills grows even more exaggerate.

When a fish grow that fast, it always gets me exciting. That sounds like the growth rate of a congicus. I've asked few friends who got the similar bichirs from the same batch about the growth rate. One of the bichir is only 5" now, and mine 10" is the largest one, the range is really large.

After seeing the photos of congicusXendlicheri on JP websites, I am pretty sure it's the same thing. And, not yet heard of that combination (lap x congicus). Anyway, since they've started the X, there's all kind of possibilities.

Thanks, my hobby also not just fish keeping but travel to LFS to look look see see. Also enjoy going to other country LFS if happen to be there..
