A Game Of Thrones

How about Tyrion's battle words....Brave men are knocking at our door.Lets go and kill them!

In the book they made tyrions face seem deformed after that battle. Missing nose and nasty scar. On TV he's got a paper cut?

tyrion was everything damn king joffrey should've been during the siege.

anyways, the finale was a bit anticlimactic aside from the ending where the white walkers showed up at the wall. gonna go watch season 3, ep1

and that guy who kills 3 men for the little stark girl appears to be some kind of warlock or wizard.

His name is Jaqen H'ghar and he is a professional assassin from a society on the isle of Braavos called the Faceless Men. The whole exchange between him and Arya are a turning point in Aryas life as you will see later on in the series or the books if you choose to read them.

Holy hell I am turning into a full on GOT geek...

I like that the story is good, but damn, there's so many things going on with so many characters. there's jon snow, theon greyjoy, Jamie lanister, the khaleesi, the lanisters at king's landing, rob, the berathian with the red head. hard to keep track but they're pretty good at bouncing back and forth. felt kind of bad for tyrian when he asked his dad for that one place and his dad shot him down and gave him an earful.

why didn't the white walkers kill the fat coward of the nightwatch at the end of season 2 finale?

and I wanted to ask those who read the books, does the show stray far from the books like TWD show and comics? or are they pretty accurate?

btw, it was pretty sweet to see a giant. the cgi on the giant was awesome. hope we see some giant in action soon

I thought the half wit that carries bran around was a giant, lol. maybe he's a dwarf giant, the tyrion of giants. minus the swag and witty lines

It strays a little bit but for the most part sticks to the story. The books are really in depth and doing the same with the TV series would take 3 or 4 times the number of episodes.

I havent read any Walking Dead comics but from what I have read from you and others, it is totally different from the TV series. I tried to watch the first one on youtube as you suggested, but the music was horrible and I'm just not a comic guy . At all.

TWD show strays so far concerning what happens to who, it's not even a spoiler anymore to talk about the comics in the show thread.

I can read comics because I have no imagination. need pictures to help it along, lol

I don't know if I can read GOT books. I've never been much of a reader. is the whole show based on one of the books or is there a few books?

Each season is one book in the series. Season 2 was the book a clash of kings (fitting) and now you're watching a storm of swords.

Funny thing is the series is actually called a song of fire and ice but book one was called a game of thrones.

I think it sticks true to the characters and in the order of which things happen. The changes are minor and tend to be dialogue changes or how someone dies. Each chapter of the book follows a different character though they occasional interact with each other. It's kinda annoying how you're ready about a character but might not come back to them for another 100 pages lol. So the show is doing a good job of portraying things that are happening around the same time.

I don't think it's necessary to read the books unless you want to jump ahead of the series. There's 2 more books left
