A Game Of Thrones

In books robbs wife is actually from a lesser family then the freys so he thinks it would be rude to bring her along which in show it kind of was. As far as I know she plays no further significant role.

Not to spoil anything but Jon gets shot in leg with arrow and basically his future role as member of nights watch is a real challenge because of his wounded leg but he fights through it while mance is attacking the wall. Wounded leg makes it all a little more dramatic.

During the wedding too actually little john, big johns son who does not exist in the show threw a table over rob in an effort to protect him. Would have been bad ass to if that happened in show.

In books as well a chapter ends with something along the lines of " then the hound hit her in the back of the head with an axe" referring to arya. This chapter is right after the red wedding and you get no proof she is still alive for about 100 pages. I was in shock, as if the wedding was enough I thought the hound killed arya too

my wife just saw last episode, she was horrified at the end LOL

random question guys. at qarth, there was a masked woman. her whole face was masked and you can only see her eyes and she was telling ser jorah they've come to a dangerous place. who was she?

Anyone else see George RR Martin on Conan last night? Funny guy.

Conan was amusing too ... paraphrasing "You have a way of drawing us in, making us love a character ... and then you kill them!!! Why!???? You sick bastard!!!"

His answer was actually reasonable, basicly saying in a movie where the hero is surrounded by like 20 guys, you don't feel the suspense because you know he's going to get out of it. I want you be afraid to turn the next page. Makes sense to me.

He also told a funny story about being at the Chinese theatre for the Season 3 premiere, and talking with three of the actors and suddenly realizing all three of the charactors they play are dead. :)

He also mention that the show and his books don't follow exactly, he mentioned the show has killed off four characters that are still alive in the books (Robb's wife I know, not sure on the other three).

I know Sumo mentioned it ... but I think it was a great call letting the credits go by without the normal music ... it sort of sustained the level of shock out even longer.

Did anyone notice the look of pure hurt on Ser Jorah's face when he came back from fighting and Kahleesi only seemed to be interested in the well being of their new friend?

The kicked puppy shot bambi's mother look? ;)

Yeah that's it,and the way the guy stepped in front of Jorah like he wasn't even there.

Daario!

Thanks G as much a fan as I am of this series I'm horrible at rembering most of the characters names....Getting back to Jorah, his facial expression alone was arguably the best display of acting in that episode.
