a giant gourami and an albino oscar in the same tank?

Hey flowerhorn guy. I suggest you not use Pole for advice until he qualifies what he tells you. He makes statements with no basis in fact. Although he is very enthusiastic he has an extremely limited amount of experience. Sorry Pole.

Yet you offer no alternative advice yourself?

OP... Don't put angels and oscars in that small of a space. Dont mix the oscar and the RD in that small of a space. Certainly don't mix Angels and RD. Don't put a GG in even the full undivided tank unless you can upgrade later.

Just my opinion . Im sure others will disagree.

angels and oscars could work but it's hit or miss. check out pr8d's tank. in a 345 gallon he had angels with the oscar, however out of three one survived. I would take the snakehead and RD in a different tank and maybe house a cichlid like a green terror or severum with it. Some fish like polypterus could also work

i surely dint want to mix RD with anything. very aggressive man.
fyi, i will put a gg in there with the oscar temporarily. of course i will not put it in a long time cuz i know tht they will grow big. will upgrade to a more suitable tank. :)

a foot long fish cannot live in a 2.5 foot tank. it's not rocket science.

try and upgrade as soon as possible, as a smaller tank could mean dying early. You mentioned a pond, can we have some details on that?

Pole, we are not talking about 345 gallons. 345 gallons is a whole different proposal.

Honestly though OP seems set on doing what he wants regardless of advice given so let him be. Some people are beyond help.
