a holish thingy on my RTC. HELP PLZ?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
remember getting a pond is more than spending the 75 buks for a pop up pool. the filtration is by far more expensive than anything you have gotten for your hobby as of yet. u'll need something flowing in the range of a few thousand gallons an hour to do it properly.

yea i just drop in a peice of shrimp and turn out the light and it eats ryte away. and it just lays in one place all day so i dun know if that is normal

HOLD ON YA'LL!!!!!!

Spots on its head? ALOT of RTC have them. Mine is mainly black but when I find he is in cooler water they show, and when he is stressed.

are they like this?

Do you have a heater in that tank for him?

is he active and swimming and is he eating? if the answer to both is yes then he is not sick. the skin irritation shud disappear. perhaps have a 24% waterchange may be beneficial. good luck

it's normal for a catfish to lay around. as long as he eats ok, i would think he is fine. keep the water clean. that is very important w/ any fish. all of my tanks get at least 50% changed a week.
