Here's a material list so far. My brother was aked me earlier tonight and it kind of blew my mind when I thought about how much material this project has consumed already. Scary thing is I'm still not done by a long shot. I have all the plumbing and electrical to worry about.

-1 4x8 of 3/4 ply
-1 4x8 of 1/2 ply
-1 1/2 gallons of fibreglass resin
-100 sq feet of matting
-approx 400 3" deck screws
-approx 100 2" deck screws
-approx 100 1 5/8 drywall screws
-approx 1/2 gallon of epoxy paint
-approx 200 finishing nails
-4 tubes of PL
-1 bottle of exterior carpenter's glue
-2 tubes of 5200
-3 sets of hinges

hmmmm just a thought... you sure the base would stand the gallons of water once in the tank?... also, shouldnt the glass be glued on the inside with the wood support on the outside so that the weight of the water will help it on?... just askin bro and not puttin you down...

Read the thread... bro...

Damn...you like the Bob Villa of tank building... Great cabinets

water? Bass. I don't know I'm trying not to think about it. Prolly a month or so I'd guess I got all the tedious stuff still to do.

Conner, the paint I just brought home from work out of a 50 gallon drum I'm not sure if it has a retail brand name or not but it's what we use to paint sailboat hulls with.

Where are you gonna use the 5200 at because I work with that stuff and it is no joke very strong and hold real well. The tank is coming alone great keep up the good work.

The reason I asked is because I should be starting to fill mine in about a months time, it'll be cool if we both filled around the same time :headbang2

Incredible build man! What are you planning on keeping in there? You may have said earlier in the thread and I missed it. I know most people on here are into freshwater but with that shape and footprint, that would make an incredible reef tank.
