Looks like a normal Geophagus Brachybranchus to me. I'm not saying it's not possible that it's a hybrid but it has never occurred before or at least has never been documented. Plus that looks to be a decent sized fish? So this spawn had to have happened a year or more ago? I'm guessing this is probably just an honest mix up and it is not a hybrid. If it is really a hybrid I think all geo fans would love to hear how it happenend though.
