State of chaos
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=74KnP52-3Z4
this youtube video contains footage of a commercial diver being bitten by a small Warsaw Grouper, an endangered species, then his partner hacking it to death.
Grouper may occasionally suck on divers but can barely break the skin, let alone a small one.
This is just wrong. To kill a fish just because it nipped you is messed up.
They entered its territory at night.
And it defended itself.
PLz dont turn it nasty. I don't need a thread closed.
I just wanted to see if anyone else shared these opinions.

if you look at it that way, then yes, it was wrong. But if you're getting attacked by something at night underwater, you'll probably stab first, think later

i cant watch the vid, but i agree with don. i might be in their territory, but if i get bitten in the dark, im lettin loose!!!! ill worry about what it was later after i eat it :D

While that was a brutal video, the driver's were just afraid. They didn't know if the fish was dangerous to them and protected themselves.

in the fishes defense, if someone walks in your house at night when your sleeping what are you gunna do?

WTF did you watch it all after that fish bit him or her and tryed to stab the fish it was still alive. They could clearly see what it was and there was a second fish i think trying to help the other fish. Mind you the first fish was tied down and everytime the other came along they had a stab at it.

SO why could they not leave the fish alone they tied it down and stabed it several times just stupid they knew exaclty what was happing and what they were doing just why did they do this :nilly: :irked: if ti is endangered then yes it is stupid of them.

if i saw it coming and it was a grouper, posing no threat to my life, no more than a few shallow abrasions, i would grab its gill plate and heave it off.
even a shark, i wouldnt hurt it or attempt to kill it until i was in serious danger.
grouper are curious fish. while there have been fatal attacks by Giant Seabass, a member of the Wreckfish family along with the Striper, Serranids are naturally curious and will test bite things.
And Warsaw Grouper ARE endangered.
