Awesome fish! Alot of info in here! much needed! finally got mine today! ATM my lil' guy is in a 20H thats planted pretty much to the brim. feeder guppies ( which have been well established) and MTS snails up the wazzo for him to pick at. Once he settles in abit I've got a 55 ready to cycle for him. also got a nice batch of black worms ( what he's been eating the past week at the LFS)

The only Comm tanks I've seen an Aba Aba in where like the one linked.. JDM style. Think it's likely there are so many fish in such a small area there is little to no terroitory disputes. I imagine you could prolly keep more then one in a tank.. either a bonded pair. or a group. Given you had tank space for 3-5 4' fish.... enough visual breaks.. and if raised all together. You might have a shot at it.

And I'll need all the luck I can get. Knives seem to be that one species I have trouble with.

Nice looking Aba. I just picked up a juvenile (I don't think this belly is a yolk sac, but it could be) of about 2.5" for $6.98. The place had several in their tank for that price, so if any of you are in San Antonio, TX and you're looking for Abas....
