I collect driftwood from local rivers and lakes...but you cant expect to find the perfect piece over night. You just have to keep your eyes open untill you find what you are looking for.

But if you dont want to scout for it ebay always has nice driftwood if your willing to pay.

This guy found this at the creek and then sold it to me for $50. Making money off of free stuff. I soak in bleach twice for about 8 hour each time, scrub it like crazy, water blast it at the car wash and then soak it again in dechlorinator. uploadfromtaptalk1366384134694.jpguploadfromtaptalk1366384154731.jpguploadfromtaptalk1366384167531.jpg

If anyone has any tricks on getting beach driftwood to sink, then I have access to literally tons of it.

I put mine in a pot with the top on and boiled the water and let the steam set into the wood. I did this about 10-15 times before sinking ImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1366384259.650611.jpg
The wood next to the silver dollars is beachwood
