I like that better than the official shirt I pre-orderd. I'll be there all 4 days, so I may pick one up.

I am new to conventions, what is the after hours hospitality room all about? Do they offer free drinks? It is listed as being very late at night.
 
I'm also going to the show this year. I'm also a member of the North American Discus Association. www.discusnada.org We will have an information booth at the show plus we're sponsoring the Discus NADA speaker Cary Strong on Thursday night at 9:30 pm. I hope to see a lot of you there.

If the guys from Bermuda make it this year watch for them also. They tend to make something called a Dark N Stormy and give them out for free out of their room or during the *****es' oral auction.
Made from dark rum and ginger beer. And free.

Holy friggin crap, I got a call at work today, and it was the kennel where I have my dog scheduled to stay at during the convention. They have been around for many, many years, but they informed me that due to the economy, they are going out of business July 31st.:WHOA::nilly::(:eek: What kind of unfreakinbelieveable timing is this!?:swear:

Well, I plan to attend regardless, and keep my room at the Fairfield Inn. I'll try to book another kennel, it won't be easy. I have time to come up with a solution hopefully.

B. I. T. C. H. es oral auction.
Its it an experience if youve never been. Usually Friday night it is an auction that should be R rated. It is all donated fish and all of the money goes to the charity funds of the ACA.
I get a kick out of it even if I don't buy. The fish bags are many, The booze is plenty, and the action is funny. Its the only auction I've been to that if you bid over a certain amount and win, you not only get the bag of fish but a shot.
This is not to be confused with the regular all day auction on Sunday.
