Thanks WyldFya,

I am trying to learn as much as I can and try to teach the other people I work with but consumers need to do their research too.QUOTE]same here

This is a really great cause and I support it. Information is power. My first fish was a Koi, I was told it will grow to the size of the tank.

I bet that was one cramped little koi.

I pissed a lady off because she wanted to buy a koi from me for her other koi becuase he lived in a 10 gallon and was lonely. I refused, she yelled at me and said it was only a 4 dollar fish, I told her I didn't care and she left mad. SEE I do weild power in stopping some people!

I bet ewurm's koi did grow to the size of the tank. Then it got back problems, and died. Lived its whole life in a fish bowl, but that is like what? 2 months at MAX?

I finally traded it in after reading they grow to 3ft and are not suitable for an aquarium. I felt like a used idiot! That fish was awesome though. Grew from 3" to 7" in my TEN GALLON that Walmart sold me, with a whisper 10 that WALMART SOLD ME. I can't believe that fish survived. After research, I decided to test the tank and nitrates were over 200 ppm. Probably a lot higher, that was as high as the test goes.

Haha, not even... I had a koi that was in a 300 gallon pond go from a little over 3" to 12" in less than 6 months. Very fast growing fish... but beautiful.

Haha, I could use some of that water for my planted tank... I have a lack of nitrates... big time.

Too bad you can't just take all of the water from recharged purigen. I know that has a LOT of nitrates in it. Next time I recharge, I will check and see how much.
