well from the way he was talking he was just going to throw it in, if the viv is the right size for the snake and he put in the opposite end to its head in my opinion he would be OK.

I would hate to be bit by one of them though - its got to hurt.

You can get them pretty cheaply in So Cal. I've seen quite a few for sale. I actually saw a tame 6 footer going for around $250 about 2 years ago in Burbank.

Haha wow 250 in my opinion is a little pricey. I'm a cheap ass lol. I recently moved, so I had to give away a lot of my reptiles(my conda being one). I dont have much room for them in my new room. I've pretty much just started my reptile collection over. I have a 40 breeder and I cant decide what to put in it! >_< I wanna do semi aquatic.

whenever you ever want to get a pet even fish do research first. gain as much knowledge as you can and then get one (which is why you posted the thread). i think having an anaconda would be great but theyre vicious and require a lot of work so id go to a local zoo and ask for someone who takes care of the reptiles. ask a few questions and then weigh your options. if you think it's still worth it go nuts

you need to treat an anaconda like you would a rattler(most of the time). meaning you are going to get bit. very rarely are their ones that are tame. and the other post is true no permit needed. here is a pic of my male yellow, mickey. he is a handful to say the least. he is still small and is a hard snake to handle. i would agree with the majority though, from your post it sounds like you are not physically and mentally capable of housing an adaconda, o i mean anaconda

Toronto or I should say GTA (Greater Toronto Area) is a "screwed" up place. Althou bylaw stated no large reptiles and large snakes like the Ananconda to own. I still see them in pet store from time to time

Some crazy pet such as arapima giga, caimen, goalith beetle, bat fish, snakehead or whatever you can think of, they sell them here >.> Its CRAZY...! x..x;;

Most exotic are dirt cheap in price too! O.O;;;
