No plans to estivate him, I would only cycle an animal I plan on breeding. The Tubs address is 758 Pyxie lane and that is where he resides for the time being :)

So, you openly admit you will not give it proper quarters?
Oh, and pyxies need seasonal hibernation.

Those are adequate quarters. the water is changed completely every other day and he has heat at the backside of the rack. They do not need to hibernate. That is like saying that a corn snake or a bear for that matter "needs" to hybernate to be healthy etc. They estivate in the wild when conditions are bad if the conditions stayed good they would grow and eat all year long without estivation. Personally I think its cruel for you to want to estivate your frog. Just because they can withstand drying up in a dry cold hole and laying dormant for a few months doesnt mean they like it :)

Not that it matters but his Normal home is a glass tank with bed a beast a water bowl and a heat pad.

go post it on your frog forum lol

omg thats the funniest thing I have ever heard lol

Ill let you know in 10 years how his health is coming along.

Show me 1 concrete study over a long term period (10 plus yrs) where they compared the life span of frogs that are hibernated and not hibernated. You cant show me one because it has never been done it is all speculation by the frog nerds. Let me ask you what kind of Health issues can a frog develop from living in a boring tub as oppossed to one with nice decorations?

frog looks pretty healthy to me :)

I cant wait to post your comments on my frog forum so we can all laugh at you. O wait I forgot I dont belong to any G*Y frog forum :)

ps, fill me in on what a short life im gonna give my pyxie. How many years you think it will live?

Ill get back to you in 10 or so years and let you see how he is doing,
