  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I set up my 10 gallon recently for shrimp and microrasboras, so not currently. I could get one pretty cheap though probably.

Sorry to see that happend to the del, i didnt thought it was that bad. Probably seperating them for now will be a good idea, but the only thing about that is when you introduce them again or when you introduce a new poly in the tank with the palmas, the same thing will happen again, only suggestion i have in mind is to to add more poly and clear some of the plant for them to have more swimming room and to have less hiding spot.

Yikes, that is hard core aggression. You have to do something to keep that palmas separate. The delhezi will never heal as long as they are together, it will continue to shred that poor del. Best game plan is to pull the palmas and put it in a separate tank for a while and let the delhezi get established in the big tank and heal up. Then when you are ready to put the palamas back in, this is a good time to add a couple new polys. Or try the new polys with the del since they will be smaller and it seems the del is pretty calm and mild

Yeah the Del is very chill. I think I might just rehome the Palmas. She is beautiful but not worth it. The Del is my favorite. And then I can just add another poly or two to that mix.

Sucks. :(

Shame to rehome that palmas because they turn out to be very good looking fish. But if the aggression cant be stopped then it will need to go. I think that if you were to have a couple more polys and a slightly larger tank you would see that aggression cut way back. Like all of us, where do you put the fish n the meantime?

Ill try to add more poly, and if that dont work then ill rehome the palmas. Like DMD123 DMD123 mentioned palmas are really nice fish, they should not be that aggressive.

It's a shame. Palmas is deceptively a beut! It's worth a shot but perhaps u can ask for the floor manager or Travis at Wet Spot to exchange for equal value towards another poly. Explain your situation. Good luck!
