O i solved the problem for now haha i put in a giant plant that is really nice and adds alot of theme to the tank its making the datnoid calm and minding his business from all the other fish :D and my african arow. is getting a chance to heal

Tell me how's feeding your african aro? I've seen em around quite a bit the last few weeks and considered getting one but decided not to because I read they're tough to feed.

Idk mines is really healthy got it from my cousin actually haha its about 4" and was really nice and active until it came into my tank and got beat up.Its always on the move and normally filtering for food, feeding it brine shrimp and bloodworms.Going to put in some tonight for him so he can eat while its calmer after the attack and beatings

You should sanction him in a small tank and feed him a lot less. That's what a friend of mine did for his Jardini and it worked.

:screwy: ....."sanction him" ? are serious ? why not giving him a written warning ? ....the only impact starving will have on a fish beside risking his health will be an increase in agression...your friend is either delusional or lying.
