i was going to say the same thing but you said it best... the aggressor would or could just find someone else to pic on...

Hey Liz! I almost have him taked into selling me his Rubys. There you go convincing him to keep them. I'm not sure if I like this situation. :D

So I have had the weaker fish in the large tank now for over a week...color is not nearly as good as the aggressive one. So now I am contemplating keeping the red male and his females and losing the red shoulder and weaker ruby red.

Then I will be looking for something else to fill the tank...hmmmm

Come to me little weak Ruby Red. Come to my home!

So what was the verdict, which one did you keep?

I had a very similar problem but it was a OB male peacock that was so agressive and I had tried everything, rearranging the tank, removing him and then putting him back several weeks later and none of this worked so he had to go and I think that by far he was on of the prettiest fish in my tank.

I decided to keep the aggressive one, I put him back in the big tank after a week and he has not been aggressive to the other fish, and he is looking a lot better than the weaker one.

Now I am just trying to make up my mind on what to do with the final setup. It is tormenting haha

Glad to hear things have clamed down.
