Geez you guys gotta lighten up things happen when a person keeps fish. Its pretty bad when a person cant post anything on a forum thats its sole purpose is to share stories and information, with out some LAME person feels like they need to share their useless advice

Yep. Maybe the guy doesn't really care about spending a lot of money on big feeders. He knew the risk and decided to take it. It's not like he's on here crying about not knowing what happened, he's just sharing the story. Just cause you personally wouldn't feed your TSN expensive Gar-Snacks, doesn't make it wrong.

Not that you will respond, but I'm just curious how it's 'irresponsible' if he was fully informed going into it and knew it might happen eventually? Exceptions exist everywhere. I bet those 2 fish lived together for a while before the gar became lunch. It didn't sound like he just dropped the Gar in with the TSN one night and came home the next day to a dead Gar. They might have lasted years together with no issues. Just because you wouldn't do it doesn't make it wrong. It's no different than using any other sort of feeder fish. I just dropped a bunch of convict fry in my cichlid tank. 2 or 3 are still alive. If they make it, good on them. If not, there's another batch brewing.

Unless you're one of those that believe fish should only eat pellets, and that using any sort of live fish as a 'feeder' is somehow morally wrong? Pellets are made from fish as well usually. Oops.

At any rate, you are the one that initially jumped on the thread with the condescending comment that contributed nothing to the discussion. I'm still betting you didn't even read the thread before you submitted your first snippet of wisdom.

i was so MADDD, how much is ur Gar cost? 30-50 buck?

i wish it was that cheap!! My city isnt that good for cool fish selection so i actually paid $220 for the pair

I'm annoyed that the OP thinks it's funny. Guess it's funny to play in traffic and eventually get hit too? If i try tank mates with my piranhas, i wouldn't be posting and laughing when one got shredded. Just poor taste on the original poster's part by putting the hahas in there

little different from a fish being gulped down than being torn apart by a piranhas, so you have never feed ur piranhas live food??????? it is funny, things happens. I laugh stuff off in life i dont have a peice of driftwood shoved up my a** and bombard into others ppls post with a bunch of bull just to make themselves feel better than anyone else.
