When did feeders get brought into the conversation? This is the equivalent of me attempting to keep a tankmate in my piranha tanks (pacu, silver dollar, pleco, etc etc) NOT a $200 feeder. Nobody's even talking about morals of feeder fish and are you implying you meant for this fish to be food? You missed my whole point anyways......you're on a fish keeping site laughing about your fish getting killed in a situation that most people would consider foolish to try.
Would you go to say....a parenting site and laugh about a miscarriage because you went on rides at the country fair? What's the difference other then human life...once again you knew the risk and most people would consider it foolish but you thought the risk was worth the joy right? It can't happen to me right?

kinda hard to keep the positive attitude that i started out with once ppl start flacking just because 1 fish happened to get ate sorry if that offened anyone but these things do and can happen. The Gar is a common tankmate with a TSN's all over the forum. /Yes its a risk but id rather take that small risk that it was than rather stuff it into my 90gal were it would become stunted!!! these are good sized fish and need room to properly grow so i was supplying this enviroment for my Gars! I also have a pool sitting at the US/CAN boarder right now solely for the TSN as its time for bigger for him til my ply tank is done.just picking it up next week when i go to visit family!!! This thread was never ever ntended to offend anyone!!!!

I just wana say, hate it when that happens. nothing like the feeling of #%&&#$^& you fish, i hope it tasted good cuz it cost me a days work lol. And lighten the **** up ppl. FISH eat FISH, we eat everything that moves. its life. i had a RTC that ate 36 goldfish a day or 2 rats a wk. and i loved watching him eat. we"ve all watched lions eat zebras on tv so obviously animals eating other animals is entertaining to lots of ppl. when he said haha im sure he didnt think it was hillarious.. more likely laughing at him self not the fact that his expensive loved fish was unexpectedly eaten. when i first red the post i didnt think the gar would fit it its mouth. catfish have decievingly large mouths and its a regretful mistake just about any large catfish keeper has made. so if yur a vegitarian, get out of the meat section.
