well as a channel cat keeper, the dead minnows are not good for anything. if it dies naturally, it died for a reason. if you sacrifice for the purpose of easy food, thats different. like everyone is saying, they grow faster then you think so be ready.

dbz the tank plans are just for a 100 gallon and the pond i already have everything for it i never said anything about a 150,120,40 gallon pond build andim gunna work for 4 hour days and $10 and hour so thats $200 dollars a week and $600 dollars a month so ya i think i could get the aquarium(plus i work 10hour days during the summer so ya) i definiately could get the aquarium within the next year so please lay off a little dbz ur going to get my thread closed again

I would try to stay with putting anything else in the tank with them but i know what its like to want new fish i would sugest something that has a similar groth rate because when those cats grow up they will take out all your fish. i dont think an oscar is a good idea they are very agressive and they are also a very dirty fish. from my experience with them i definitly think this fish should be avoided if you want a healthy and clear tank for your cats. but gouramis could be a good fish for now they get big enough now to be eaten and come in alot of varius colors.

$10 per hour for 13 years old? Seems fishy for us....and remember your mom's still pissed off about your hobby so please dont make it worse farther with your mom. You always change your story all time so thats why dzb was little hostile toward you and the reason the threads got locked is because of you, not dzb. Yeah you said about 150, 120, 40 gallons pond in different threads/posts. 100gal wont hold a half grown channel catfish... common pleco and green sunnies maybe...

when i build the 281 pond next year would i be able to put pscars in it if i put it a heater?would they be good with the catfish?the green sunfish?the plecos?
