While I would not be quite so crass and extreme I have to echo these sentiments. I don't understand the fascination with albinism. Saying they look like vomit is a bit over the top but they certainly are bland. They may be rare. They me extremely difficult to find. They may even be somewhat interesting but I have to draw the line at beautiful. We've taken a gorgeous fish and essentially erased the clolors that make them beautiful and then say it's an improvement. It's akin to taking a Van Gogh
placing it in direct sunlight where U.V. fades the paint colors and then saying it's an improvement over the original. I just don't get it.

I don't know if that's a good analogy.. the white-out pix isn't a very accurate depiction based on the fact the pattern stays but the pigment changes..

I think alot of people link rarity with beauty.. and Beauty is in the eye of the beholder ;)

How much?

Well for me, I think that most animals,(with the exception of humans, they just look ill.) look so different in Albino form that it's almost like seeing it/them for the first time. There's white where color should be and it changes everything. If it's common like in Cory's or Senegal Bichers then it almost looses it's effect and is just kind of bland. Just my opinion though.;)

Yesterday it really squeezed my balls when I was checking in at the airline counter and the ground staff told me I was not allowed to check in my fish and they refer me to cago section with only 15 minites left before they closed manifest,so,got my shirt wet with cold sweat before I managed to reached the cargo section. I could said this is the most expensive fish I dealt in my life and it gave me a little bit of stress before it released in the tank safely.

Now,I am preparing another two days to keep in my tank to make sure the condition before it tranfer to someone else tank,If the buyer can comply to my condition I will let him have the fish or I just raise it for another few months and sell it for triple the pirce.

This creature was born on 8-8-2008 and it was on the same day of Olympic open ceremony and the breeder has given it a name as "Olympic"
I just hold the pics. and found it has a capital letter "S" on the hind head and figure 8 on the body,as Chinese saying this fish will bring good luck and big fortune.

just to show the beauty of "Olympic" here again.

Wish we could all get along is such a great fish
Ya most of not all the odd ball rays go to an asian country, but as everyone always states; "they will pay double wat we pay". Geuss its just buisness.

At last I can relax as the buyer told me he has crossed the border now.

So,in future the update will leave it to the new owner to follow up.

Thanks
