amazing animal.. Anyway you would share what its worth/being sold for?

Very nice albino specimen. is it albino or lutino? anyone can the tell? do you have a shot on the eye?

it will be very rare and very good for the making of albino in other type. will be really nice if the new owner can post the photo for updates from time to time. I heard the ray like singapore for settle down....... ;-)

No, that's ok. Everyone have right to there own opinion. I just don't like albinos, regardless if it is cornsnake, retic python, snapping turtle or rays. I like the original pattern best.

While I would not be quite so crass and extreme I have to echo these sentiments. I don't understand the fascination with albinism. Saying they look like vomit is a bit over the top but they certainly are bland. They may be rare. They me extremely difficult to find. They may even be somewhat interesting but I have to draw the line at beautiful. We've taken a gorgeous fish and essentially erased the clolors that make them beautiful and then say it's an improvement. It's akin to taking a Van Gogh

and then saying it's an improvement over the original. I just don't get it.

I feel them same way...I see it like an albino is defective it's missing a chromosome that gives it pigment. I won't pay more for a defective animal.

I also feel the same with people breeding mutts (talking about dogs now)....Then give it some stupid name like puggle or cockapoo and charging a premium :screwy:. 20 years ago those mutts weren't worth $hit.
Like hybrid rays I want pure not a mutt!

Just my opinion

Would this be considered Albino, or not?

Albino is lacking all pigment, correct?

Could it be any of these? I am no morph expert..
Amelanistic: lacking melanin (black pigment
Erythristic: Predominantly red morph.
Flavistic: Sepia-toned background color.
Leucistic: lacking or mostly lacking chromatophores.
Xanthic: Predominantly yellow color morph.

Just curious.. would be nice to get a close-up shot of the eyes. I am just wondering as it has alot of red pattern/coloration. Still a one of a kind, ultra-rare ray..
