You may have some good advice, but the way you go about giving it is completely uncalled for.I screwed up and put this stuff in my tank. That was a mistake. That still doesn't mean that Algae Destroyer doesn't kill fish.If you don't believe me put it in your "perfect" tank and see what happens.
You may have learned some good lessons, but the way you go about blaming the chemical is completely uncalled for. You screwed up and put this stuff in your tank, without doing any research. That was a mistake. That still dosn't mean that Algae destroyer killed your fish. If you don't believe me, dose it properly in a healthy tank and see what happens.
I have used this product before, no problems. Back when I was more of a novice fish keeper and hardly did any water changes, and relied on chemicals to fix my problems. Whenever a chemical didn't do what it claimed, I bashed it and told everyone that it was the chemicals fault, and not mine. Sounds ironic, eh?
I recommend this product at my work all the time, to individuals who have poor husbandry practices and look to chemicals for quick fixes. I have only had 1 customer have a die off in fish because of it, and he had an extremely bad green water algae bloom, and his nitrates were through the roof, because.. of... lack of water changes... ?
So like I said before.. It's just as much your fault as much as it is the chemicals fault. It pisses me off beyond no end when people blame errors on chemicals. A healthy tank should never need chems like these.
