a UV light is much safer, makes ur fish healthier and gets rid of the problematic algae!

I have Parrot Fish and I would freak if one of them died. The best thing is to stay away from any meds that have artificial chemicals in them. Go for organic or herbal stuff. They take longer but they work. Dunno if you get for algae but I mean if your fish get sick. If you are unsure what to buy ask someone who knows.
Are you using the exact same brand?Privitor;2498228; said:This Thread made me want to join just to say
this is crap the way some of the vererins on here start to jumpo on somebody who has just had a death in the family "GROW UP!!!"
subsequintly i just had this happen to me today! my cichlid tank was very healthy and get ph tested daily and water changes weekly i had 6 healthy fish and one mother to be. my rockes were getting a lil green so i used this stuff and sure all of the malawi cichlid died the only survivor was a heart jewel cichlid and a catfish. i used this in this tank for the first time thinking it would help clan the rocks. i use it in my freash water planted tetra tanks with no problems and in the turtle tank but as soon i i used it on the cichlids, DESASTER. it must be something in the chemical that killed them for some reason or another.
