oh females are smaller than males. We should encourage females 9" and over be shown off too. It'll be pretty in here if you would post your fish :)

I want mine thick like this!!

How long will it take for my 8" to get this big??

Thanks for posting your Festaes. I dont think anyone can deny their beauties..

But I think we need more Festaes on MFK. Only tallks of them, but not seeing too much here.. I thought we were gonna find some crazy big ones.. But so far, Balton is the BIGGEST posted

Mines still up up to size to be posted

Not quite sure on that, unless Balton is under estimating the size of his studly boy.:D

For comparison, the Jag is 16" so that puts my boy around the 14" mark. Photo taken 2 months ago.:D

Yeah GreenTerra's yours is a beast too, both are gorgeous specimens!

Do you use an overhead flash when photographing your fish? My 135 is not set up yet, but it has a black acrylic background and I want to achieve the "no background, infinite blackness" look that you capture in your photos.

Overhead flash for sure.;) It also helps having a tank that is 4' front to back.;)
