Alligator gar growth progression thread

i like how you measure and include the dates, very scientific and helps the whole community
no way the gar in pg 1 and 3 are the same person!
 
They are the same fish i no i cant believe it my self. I feed twice a day and all my tanks are on automatic water change. I change 100% tank volume every 3 days.

i live in tx.. i swim in the medina river. these boys get Huge. ive fished for them before.. caught a few juvies this size. hooked a real monster about five feet long. one of those "one that got away" stories. i saw a pack of four or five in canyon lake patroling the banks of a steep decline early one morning. they were thicker than my thigh... and musta been six feet or longer. my friend and i were sitting with legs in the water watching sunrise.... and spots nd stripes swam by!! sooo creepy we didnt even see them until they were passing us. great fish.
