You are far from being overstocked. I have 5 11 1/2 '' oscars and 6 manageneuse cichlids and 3 pleco's all in a 55 gallon set so there for your tank is not overstocked. Fish need a 1'' of water per each inch of their body size. Hope this helped

No pacu or redtail? :screwy:

with the kind of aggression that these fish have i would say anything short of 300 gal and you have dead fish ..

there are many problems with the set up .. the fish he keeps the size of the tank and the knowledge of the person in general are all wrong

this is why people need to ask before they buy not buy then ask if its ok ... you dont go to the store and buy a English mastiff and not know what your getting ... same as you dont get a teacup rat dog and expect it to be 300 lbs .. you learn first buy second .. his stock is not really the most compatable the tank is WAY to small ... but then again .. its prolly just a troll posting stuff to get members all in a fussy .. who knows .. i guess pics would be proof ..

im not saying that you advice is not wanted .. its just not 100% correct .. but then again you pointed out that your a small planted tank kind of person ..

WTF are you talking about? An Oscar and 2 JDs will not work in nothing less then a 300g.:screwy:

i cant get a bigger tank cause im on the 2nd story of an older apt building thats not supposed to have tanks in the first place but i love my fish and ive had them since they were babys.......i risk eviction for my fish lol

You might want to return your fish, true you have a bond with them, but truly, your just hurting them. The fish will stunt, then die...

And Iffrat, according to your signature, all your tanks are overstocked too. Might wanna think about getting that 300 gal you suggested the OP.
