Am I playing with too much fire?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
should work thats huge, just need alot of driftwood and rocks

a male RD would be classed instead of the jag in the most aggressive. if you could get \ wild one they get extremly nice colour in the sunlight, i think it could work because its a lot of water but you never kno..

what are the dimensions of the pond?

10' diameter, it's round.
sorry i missed that! i think 10' should be ok.

Should be find. I know managuense pairs don't take up more than 4 sq feet of space when breeding so you should be good with room. I would say the one that will cause the problems the most is the Umbee just because it is a "open water" fish if you want to call it that as dovii are more sit and wait until something comes near then smack! The Umbee will always invade other territory no matter what. Jag should be no problem and the Festae either. I think you have enough room for even a Black Nasty in the mix.

Are you planning on growing them up together... i think alot would have to do with their sex ..maybe all males would work with them having their own territory..but once you add a female i think they would all start aggrivating each other...

just be sure to brreak up the line of sight with wood and rocks to calm them down .

I agree, should be okay except that Umbee at adult size.I also think the Black Nasty would be nice.

I'll get them according to availability. That would probably mean that the umbee will be the last one in. Kinda works well cause I figure that he'll be the most destructive, if not the dovii. Plus I have yet to see what a full grown 16-20" red terror can do.

Lol, right now, it's just a temporary pool. My dad wanted me to have a temp thing set up first before I decide to make something more permanent. I'll have the permanent pond made before the summer is over though.;) Lol, here is the temp setup, nothing special:
