Personally I'd rather read a book and self medicate or take my animal to a real vet...

Why pay some nutjob to do the same thing anyone who takes the time to read up on the subject can do.

If your animal is seriously ill take it to a licensed vet that has the hundred thousand dollar machines and labs to find out what's really wrong with it.

I think the main thing with it, is that vets wont look after illegal animals. They shouldn't have them in the first place, but since this guy realizes that they already have them he can make a buck off it. There will always be the underground if something is illegal. The guy is an idiot though if he is going to advertise to the public. Too many people are not willing to do the research, but yet still want to keep them as a pet.
