Amazon predator tank

working on planning a very large (20,000-40,000 gallon) Amazon tank, enclosing a conference room in an office.
stocking ideas? just trying to keep fish from the amazon river basin, however open to any other ideas you guys have please suggest. personally ive always done reef aquariums, however always had a soft spot for the amazonian fish. (wow factor is really the goal here).

(unfortunately due to location, all Pygocentrus, serrasalmus, pristobrycon, and freshwater stingrays are off the list of possibles )

Okay wow!! Now I have no experience with tanks that large but if you cannot do piranha then go with 'piranha eater' the arapima gigas?

Arowana's, peacock bass, oscars, silver dollars and some nice catfish like tiger shovel nose would be my choice

Not sure but I think a lot of that is not Amazonian... But it depends how 'real' you want it to be.

The Amazon is also famous for its monster (rumoured to be maneating) catfish.. Might be an idea.

I feel like as long as it sticks to south America its ok haha.

I think a massive shoal of silver dollars would be awesome. Along with a tiger shovel nose cat. P.S. Move out of Ga to enjoy the hobby more lol.

Peacock Bass would look really good and grow to pretty decent sizes in a tank like that.

Hopefully this isn't one of those all to common "Hey guys! I want the amazon in my house! stock my tank!" threads that turns out to not be a thing

I may have to come visit to see that tank myself. I feel the pain of no stingrays.

If your gonna do SD i would stick with only the larger speicies since most would get eatten over time

Wide bars and res hooks would work

I would do

Arowanas
Peacock bass
Rtc
Tiger shovelnose
Spotted gars
Oxydoras niger
Yellow belly pacus
Clown knife
Marble motoro rays
Tin foil barbs
Wild oscars
