Should be like almost any regular thermostatic mixing valve. That one just has a dial vs sitting there with a thermometer to set it. Should fow well. Don't know if the low flow on a drip would work well though.
Could maybe look up a 3/4 one but it'll be $$ . The valves we put in when I did commercial plumbing installs were always fed by 3/8 brass tube and that was strong sink type flow so 1/2 inch should flow some water.
Ive got the same one. I use it for water changes on my system takes about 40 minutes to do about 80% volume change.
Total system volume is roughly 400g.
