i run a red sea ocean clear filter. the filter it self is great but the problem im having is when i have to clean the filter i have a spike in levels. can any one recomend me a bio filter that i can run in line with the ocean clear.

ya i was looking at that. it looks like that would be the only one but the problem is its rated for like a 250gph pump on the small one up to a 100 gallons. its 17 inches tall wich would be the one i could fit under my tank....but i have a pump that pushes 800gph roughly.

I would say "room to spare" is a matter of opinion. The two rtc's alone are creating a ton of waste. I'll assume that the pacu are still small. That being said, you're going to continue to have ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate issues as long as you keep all those fish in a tank that small. IMO, 800g would be the minimum for that list. You will have to start doing water changes on a daily basis to keep things under control.

What type of filtration are you running?

Really good post.......and on the very first page! You'd do well to listen to Hawkfish (even if it hurts!).
