So far, so good, the tiger sd’s are around the 3”-3.5” mark so they are a bit larger than the sagittae’s. It seemed like everyone was getting along when I left the house this morning. I will give a full description of how things are going by this weekend. That should be enough time to see if this will work. For the record, a pair of sagittae’s along with 7 tiger sd’s in a 125 is an impressive setup, now hopefully everyone cooperates. Thank you very much

Looks nice, subbed for updates.

I'm currently keeping boesmani rainbows with argentea, synspilum, bocourti and heterospilus. none of the cichlids even give a second glance to the rainbows.

another option besides dither fish would be target fish. you could add a few male convicts...this is what I did when I had a festae pair in my 125 many years ago and it worked great. :)

Looks good with the tigers!
If you want more dither suggestions, I kept large clown barbs (5-6") with large CA cichlids including a 13" hogaboomorum and 14" johanna pike, and they did quite well. Big, too chunky to eat, and fast.

you might not be able to keep anything with a Haitiensis.
They usually don't play very nice.
That’s what I’ve seen. The lived peacefully with the 16 red minors and then about 2 weeks ago started picking them off literally every night. Last night the last one paid the ultimate sacrifice

Ok so it has been a couple of days and everyone seems to be settled in. The sagittae’s have calmed down a bit with chasing each other, but the funny thing is that they aren’t chasing the tiger sd’s either. They’re just cohabitating rather peacefully. I know this can change at any moment, yet it’s nice to see a bit more movement in that tank with the dithers. 1 male sag is the dominant male and I’m hoping he picks a female soon because he is by far the grumpiest, yet prettiest in the tank. I will take newer photos of everyone settled in this weekend and post them here. Thank you for all the suggestions.
