Hybrids are natural. It occurs in the wild just as it does in the aquarium, though certainly not to the same degree. It's no different than 2 different dogs or cats mating and producing a mutt/hybrid.

this is a common debate but it actually is different. domesticated dogs are all variations of the same species. it'd be more comparable to line breeding <electric blue dempseys> than to hybridization. same with cats I believe.

Until you start mixing wild blood...ie bengal cats, savannah cats, etc...

The fish looks very cool though!
