They sell 'em here all the time but not in a chain pet store, little baby green's we have here, I was shocked when I first saw them but completely legal to own. And they seem to go fast, most of the time they have one in stock. Never the same one though so they must be selling.

they would most likely be greens..they don't get as big ..we have had many in the past

No the greens are the huge ones, yellows are smaller.

I use to have one in my snake collection but since my woman hates snakes I had to choose between the two. So now the closest thing to a snake I own is a gymonthorax tile eel. I think that they should be for sale but stores need to screen who they sell them to. Mine was almost 10' when I sold him to a local constrictor fanatic. Right now he is over 16' and mean as hell I cant believe that Pete still has him around. Last time I talked to him he was talking to a keeper from a zoo around here about taking him in. A good way to keep them out of the wrong homes is to raise the price then only a few will go to bad homes that is something you will never be able to stop

:angryfire :angryfire ok heres my problem with banning (in this case a snake that YOU are unfit to care for) is it just makes it easier to ban and govern everything else. ban the snakes, then the lizards, then spiders, then the fish. hard to be monster fish keepers when only thing legeal is oh wait nothing becouse they are all imported or dangerous. maybe we should ban stupid people from breeding.:swear: :swear: :swear: :swear: :FIREdevil :FIREdevil

If only we could make that happen.. :(

From now on, two D or two F students or any combination of the two may not make babys together...

I agree though.

for real. Several states have passed laws or tried to pass laws banning big snakes, and in some areas they've tried to pass laws banning reptiles altogether, all because some fools don't have a clue what they're doing and end up either getting hurt by the animal or mistreating it.

Why not ban cars? Every day I see plenty of people who don't know how to drive safely.
