Anchor Worms? Oh nooo!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
You gotta understand me guys. I put couple grands on these fish(to bring these Largemouth's to my country) and now they started dying. I gotta be suspicious and question everything. Plus Tom was the only person saying these were flukes. Thanks to duanes, now with a second person agreeing with Tom, i am more sure.

Little parasite on my second sick fish is gone. Hopefully he will get his colors back soon.

I fully understand your concerns. You are just trying to make sure you give the fish the best care and opportunity for recovery and survival. I think you are doing the right thing by exploring all possibilities. I hope we can play a small part in your successful raising of these beautiful LMB.

Tom, one of the sick fish has one side of the gill red. I thought it was gill flukes but i don't think it is getting any better. Seems like he stopped moving that gill anymore.

Using one gill is a classic symptom of gill flukes. Have you tested your water? Parameters?

Tom, good to hear it is still flukes and not something else. Yes, i test it everyday. I change the water about 10% everyday, since the disease started. So parameters are perfect.

Tom i was off to town for a couple days and now one of the 2 sick fish looks great. He still didn't get his colors back but i think he will be fine.

The other one has no flukes but he has some missing scales and he doesn't want to eat. He is in that methylene blue and fungus medicine added tank. He doesn't get worse but not better as well. Dunno...

Try removing the meds and see if that helps.
