Anchor Worms

Thank you for the advice. I ordered some Jungle Labs Anchors Away that is basically Dimilin. In the meantime I have the Parasite Clear in there and aquarium salt. I am going to try and remove the small worms on the fins of my fish.

Somebody suggested on another thread about using a 2-3" raphael catfish as they remove parasites from fish. What do you guys think about this idea?

Don't know how it will work with the raphael. Since the fish are not from the same area, the natives won't know the raphael is trying to remove the worms. The fish will probably not stay still enough for the raphael to be effective.

I have had the redness and swelling come back on 3 fish(nothing visible), where the front fins connect to the body, I used the coppersafe again, the swelling is gone in 2-3 days. So far no more problem.

I am not going to use the dimilin, although it sounds effective. Too dangerous sounding for me not the fish.. Not worth it.

So far so good no worm issues and my fish seem happy.....Eating normal and acting like fish......Trying to talk the wife into a 150 gal setup for my little buddies.....They are definately getting cramped in their current home.
