Anchor worms?

Dimilin X is the new formula. Old dimilin isn't made anymore. I have some old bottles of regular dimlin that worked fine against anchor worms recently. Mike Sema said the new dimilin X works like the original in a post not too long ago.

That is if you have anchor worms. Which I hope over dat disease.

You're welcome Tom. I guess it's a "stabilized" form of diflubenzurone.

It's one of the ingreediants in Tetra Parasite Guard, albeit at a lower dosage but is still effective against mild cases of anchor worm. There used to be a product called Paragon 2 that combined Furan 2 and metro, this along with meth blue was excelent at getting rid of anchor worm and less stressfull on the fish than diflubenzuron. I think my suggestions sometimes seem a little off to some members because the combinations I suggest don't containe meds that alone would work and they wouldn't but in synergy they combine for an effective cure and prevent any secondary infection that oftens follows. Just like 3x or furan 2 combined with Kanamycine will knock out coulmnaris better than any one of them by themselves.

THe Dimilin-x isn't coming until friday. You think I should try the parasite guard and meth blue in the tank tomorrow?
 
You could salt your tank until your meds arrive. It won't kill the AW but will make life miserable for them and will limit their transfer.
 
Unless they've stopped eating or are spreading rapidly I'd wait
