are you saying we are opinion whores around here? :( :grinyes:
you said it not me. But after calculations and a rough figure of a tank that size with water being 7k i dont think my floors can handle that lol

i live in a 10yr old 2400sq ft mobile home, i think this 300 might be the limits for weight

The water changes on the 12' dimensions would be insane!

Not really im going to set up plumbing and let it be automated but i just dont think my floors can handle it, and im renting so i cant get under the house and modify/reinforce it

me either, im just trying to see if its possible to safely put this amount of weight on my flooring, if not the 300 will have to do untill my timber pond is built on the porch

actually if you do it right Mobile Homes can support the most weight after a slab floor. This is because there is the two steel runners that go front to back that they bolt the running gear to move them. If you straddle them right you can have massive amounts of weight on them. The steel girders are also what they use to hold the house in the air so adding support to them is just a a plate of scrap steel on the ground and a couple of cheap twist jacks.

I also said the same things about my tanks and the first thing my 4 year old niece did when I was not looking was bang on the glass, along with ever 2-8 year old kid that ever stepped foot in my house. Kids will get curious and will get in to stuff just something that is gonna happen.

My son does not have access to the tank. Period, unless he is with me or my wife. Its not out in the open. its basically in a locked room. well i am putting this on an outter wall, dont the steel beams run down the center?
