I just removed the first white eggs out of the batch. you have to have stable hands so you don't smash any other eggs. I got about 5 off.

I don't know of any book. But all my angels flar there gills.
With the breeding pair they do it any time that one of them would go towards the eggs, or comeback from the other side of the tank. There seems to be a flap of skin (Maybe called a gill cover) that they can extend, from under the gills.
With my 3 other angels in the 75 (I think that there are 2 males and 1 female, but not sure) the dominant male will flar his gills.
When the 2 males face off, they flare there gills and twitch there heads back and forth. They also extend there fins as much as possible(I think to make themselves look bigger). Then they will lip lock, the one that looses goes to the other side of the tank, and the winner goes over by the female(?) and they swim side by side around the tank.
In about 3 months all of my angels will be adults. Then I can give you more accurat info on gill flaring.

Explain this. The eggs were layed on Friday, Today is Sunday. 2 Days later. but for some reason the eggs are hatching today!

when my angels lay the eggs last about 24-36 hrs. Then they eat them. 10 or so times now i dont know what to do??
It could be from stress? It could be a TV, other tankmates, someone constantly walking infront of the tank.
Have you ever had any eggs hatch? my Angels have layed 10 times an have had no success. Do you have any suggestions.
This is there 4th spawn. the first I raised, they are almost adults now. The second the male didn't do his part. 3rd, let the parents raise them, they got to wigglers then got eaten at night. Now this one. I am raising.
