Angelfish Spawn!

Ok. My angelfish lay there eggs on teroccotta pots so it might be a good Idea to put a small one in the tank. If they have been together for only 1 month I would give them another 1-2 months and then see if they show breeding behavior.
Angelfish usually start breed if there is a male and female when they are 10-12 months old.
When you say your pH is high do you mean around like 7.0 and above???
Angelfish like lower pH's like 6.6 - 5.0. No lower than 5.0 thow as that can be dangerous for the fish.
(you have face plants in your fish tank??? heheh!)

the ph is 8.0 and idk how old they are. how can u tell how old the are?Tropicalfishking;4015718; said:
I don't know, however I would wait until you notice that they have stopped growing or slow way down until you can hope for eggs.
I would also get a buffer or something so you can get the pH down to atleast 6.5. that is what mine are at.
