Angelfish Spawn!

The petstore didn't have any BBS. but I got Hikari first bites. Is that small enough?
Next time I go I will see if they have any BBS, I think that they were just out of it. I also got some water conditioner. Then I remembered to get some standard airline tubing. I got that to do some water changes.

Got home, did a water change. Made sure that the water that was going in the tank was as close to the temp in the tank as possible. I then added the water slowly into the by dripping it in.

The parents finished laying there eggs. There are not as many as last time, but that was expected.

Yet another quetion...
The parents had babys back in march of this year. That makes them 8 months old. I kept 2 of them and got 1 more from the petstore. Is it a bad thing if it turns out the two that I kept become a breeding pair? Will the fry be deformed or anything?
 
Had to get up early to care for the babys this morning. I gave them there first meal, there stomachs looked realy small. I turned off my filter so the food would stay in the tank, and not get sucked into the filter.
I will let the babys eat for 40mins then do a water change. (Wow, doing this everyday before school, after school, before I go to bed with be interesting...)

The eggs the parents layed last night made it through the night! Again, the female has banished the male, I don't understand why she does this every time...
 
I think that they are eating it. There bellys have turned the color of the food. But they are not bulging, full of food. Is that normal?
 
They could have had alittle bit of the egg sac left, even though you didn't see any. As long as the aren't skinny, they should be fine. Just keep up with the water changes. Just wondering, havn't you done this before with your last batch?
 
I don't remember. It was back in march, and I didn't really know what I was doing.
So most of this stuff is a first.
 
I came home from work yesterday and My Angels had laid eggs. On the mag float of all places. Guess we'll see what happens ?
 
cool! Are you going to let the parent raise them or do it your self?
