Angelfish Spawn!

None of the pet stores around me will buy my babies ! They say they can only take them by donation ? Which means they dont wanna pay for them ! they want them for FREE !! Dont think so ! so im stuck ? Not sure what to do if i finally get some to make it ?

my first ever batch of babies i moved to a 10 gal tank. Unfortunately they all died. then the next batch i left with the parents an they all disappeared. i think it was from the other Angels eating them ? i dont have anything to put the others in so i was wondering if i might be able to use a breading net/box an keep them with all the other Angels ?

i would look on craigslist if there are any 30 gal. GL

You could post something on craigslist like "I have way to many angelfish babies than I have tank space. Come on by and pick up as many angelfish babies as you want. $3 per angelfish and you much buy atleast six."

I think you could use a breeding net for the first month of there life, but it would have to have good water flow and the babies shouldn't be able to swim out of it.

I need to get more bushy nose plecos for all of the angelfish baby tanks that I have. I'm not likeing scrubbing them every 5 days.

i got 1 tank with free swimmers. at least 150. and 200 plus wigglers in the other tank. been feeding firstbites until the brine are ready tonight.

the fry seem to be doing good. ill keep updated.

Hey mos90, could you get pictures of your set up? What the parents look like?

I called The Fish Store tonight and I talked with the person that buys the fish, Peter, and I told him that I had between 40-75 babies as big as a quarter in body size. He just laughed and said that is a lot of fish.

He said that he would take 36 of the babies. I see why Red Devil said to find multiple places to buy the fish! Yeah, I get to buy more water conditioner, plant food and filter cartridges!
