Animals torn to pieces by lions in front of baying crowds

So getting chased around then bitten in half by say, pirahnas (videos everyone seems to enjoy) is quick and painless eh?

"I would not call being hung from a pole on a rope till one gets a good grip to rip it off a quick death."

It'd be quicker than most of the pirahna videos that get posted.

Edit: I'm not refering to the rest of the article, the tortoise stuff is wrong. Just talking about with the lions.

I did not realize you were talking only about the lions. Sorry about
that. Anway, I do agree with you on the point about the pirahnas, that those videos are very wrong, especially if the person filming them is doing it for entertainment. If I had to feed live food to fish that are very vicious, such as the pirahnas, I would very likely not even stay in the room to watch, nor would I film it and place it on the internet.

No your right about the pirahans and the videos, I personaly don't like or see the point of such videos. All the fish I feed are still fry or very small juvi fish and are taken down in one bite (swallow) not ripped in two.
I also thought you were talking about the whole article not just the lion stuff.

I feed my Americans/Africans feeders and get a kick out of it... I get a thrill and the same with my fish, I watch for entertainment...... A half inch fish getting placed into a 70 gal full of 4-6" Americans and Africans, going crazy over them is very fun to watch, It's all over in one single bite.....

Exactly, how can you guys whine about this when you feed say, 5" goldfish to 10" armatus? Goldfish get impaled and probably live for a while until consumed. Why the hell do people treat fish different from mammals? I fail to see why...

agreed.i was gonna say whats the big deal.just because the animal is bigger or something..
