I have to agree its insane the prices. NO way a used 55 should be more then 50 bucks, every store has a kit that has the tank heater and filter for like 120.

But I agree their tank their price. I just sometimes wounder if they are trying to recoup their losses.

I also think some people are insane with some of the prices they have! A while back I saw a bare 10 gallon for sale, nothing but the tank and a filter, for $100. To me that would be worth not even $20.

there is someone in denver who has been trying to sell a 29 gallon for $550 with an over the back filter and a bubbler. an horrible blue gravel. said over a thousand invested.. wtf lol

Yeah I agree on CL being ridiculously stupid. I have found that the easiest way is to take my fishes to LFS, and throw away my stuff instead. Its like me selling my 2005 Hyundai car for $25,000.

I sell good size cichlids for $5 on craigslist and nothing but flakers and I even get flagged. So I take it to the LFS and its sold the next day at 3 times the price. ???

Sadly, that is so true. I don't get it.

I work at a pet store. I tried to sell some of my fish on kijiji for a very low price. No takers. I gave them to the pet store I work at and then sold them to someone there for much more than I was asking.

Makes very little sense in my world.

I would get all of that brand new for maybe 250 - 300.
