I have the same problem, my roommates think that by not listening to me when I say don't mess with my tank it means "feed them feeders that haven't been treated every time I'm away at class because it's fun to watch them eat" It gets really annoying because they always mess with stuff and I spend so much time/money into getting things right that they can ruin it in a few short minutes

yeah i hate that.. friends are always trying to toss in unquarantined feeders

my brothers alway are such idiots especially the one who is 14(youngest) he is the only one who gets on my nerves
i have a 40g tank in which i have a group of jewel chiclids with all their dazzzling colors and all, and my brother is always trying to show off to any of his friends who come home and gets guppies or mollies or platys to toss into the tanks which are kept in the worst state at the lfs (cheap fish= dirty tanks)

I have three sons, 5, 4, and 2. They insisted on petting the fish in the 30 gal that they could get to. So I put oscars in it as a grow out, lol. They've all been bitten once or twice, and now they won't go near any of my tanks.

WHO SAID EDUCATION COMES FREE LOL. THAT WAS A GOOD ONE.

ireally thank god i dont have these problems, my mom complains about the tanks and all the water changes but deep down u know she loves them all, i often catch her as well as my brother and father sitting in my fish chair checking things out.

the old trick of tapping the glass is the most frustrating, but it is one that people who know me don't dare try, but guests will try occasionally. Although comments from friends, like "your fish are all ugly and brown, get some saltwater, yeah, those are colorful" are equally annoying.

My old lady had a friend over who started tapping on one of my tanks. It made all my fish SPAZ out. My lima shovelnose started shedding his slime coat. I asked her nicely to stop and she made some comment about how it didn't hurt anything and kept tapping. I threw that beyotch out of my house, and I didn't do it nicely. Everyone else has been pretty cool with my tanks.

Super Funny! You should of slaped her and said "what that didn't hurt anybody!"

I don't have to many problems with guest or family becuase everybody knows I will put hands on you if you mess with any of my stuff (OCD)! My GF she does not like fish at all so I have no worries there, her son on the other hand lets just say he is tired of getting flicked in the forhead so he just get's really close to the tanks and turns and looks at me with a stupid grin! In the back of my mind I know I am going to have to jack him up later down the road but for now we have sort of a overstanding! I like to make him cry! Hehe!
