My old lady had a friend over who started tapping on one of my tanks. It made all my fish SPAZ out. My lima shovelnose started shedding his slime coat. I asked her nicely to stop and she made some comment about how it didn't hurt anything and kept tapping. I threw that beyotch out of my house, and I didn't do it nicely. Everyone else has been pretty cool with my tanks.

LMAO!!:ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:

LOL awww

I don't even know where to start.
One of the tanks I maintain is a sw tank right in the entry way to the elementary school where my mom works. So just imaging like 600 little kids and what they can do to one tank???:WHOA: Whats worse is thats its a Sponge Bob theme so the kids love it!!! Theres even a little plastic pineapple, Patrick Star, and Sponge Bob in it. So they put their hands in the tank or all smush their grimey little faces and fingers against it and are like, "LOOK, IT'S SPONGE BOB!"
I can never do water changes when school in session because then all the kids get in the way and try to help me. Plus bug me with a thousand annoying questions like, "What are you doing, whats that, what does that do???" And my favorite, "What fish is that?" and sometimes I reply, "Dude, your in second grade, read the sign."
And of course the older kids mess with it all the time. I find things unpluged and coins in there at least once a week.:irked::screwy: I'm suprised I haven't lost any fish yet.

Aren't kids great?;)

I just hate when people "try to help"

I just moved my bichir over to his larger home and my roommate kept "trying to help." Bugged the crap out of me cuz he wouldn't get out of the way. He repeatedly banged on the glass (WITH HIS WHOLE PALM) to make him "want to swim into the net" as he put it......

ROFL yeah i hate that

LOL the more I read the happier I am that my O's taught my kids a lesson.:headbang2 Especially considering they don't touch the tanks anymore. I do find that some of my friends like to tap the glass to watch the fish spaz. I boxed my one friends ears once for it. Asked him how he liked it. He didn't.:ROFL:

I think I made my point.:D Never had to do it again.
